Eeyore's teeth grinding has not ceased after 1 week of prediapred (her pawing and lethargy has decreased. I looked in her mouth and saw reddish gum above her two upper canine's. Not spongy - not bleeding. These canine's are transparent (almost 9 yr old teeth)
Is teeth grinding VERY common in tooth pain? I have a vet appt tomorrow and would like some input from this group. She does not have tarry stool but continued stomach upset and is on gerber baby food with a supplement of nupro and taurene. She doesn't want to eat when started she eagerly begins but backs off with wicked teeth grinding. Like I said, back to the vets tomorrow - appreciate thoughts on teeth grinding in association to sore teeth?? Is inflammation in the gum *normal* for a ferret of this age?
appreciated,
Di
