My ferrets love coackroaches but love crickets even more. I don't spray for
roaches for that reason which presents a problem. I seem to not be
overwhelmed with them but do have them. I have found a chalk stick that
seems to work well and using it carefully over the years has not caused any
ferret problem. This chalk is probably boric acid base which dries the oils
on the roach which in turn causes them to lose water. This chalk also works
on ants very well. I try to collect any dead or dying roaches before the
little monsters get to them. By the way not all of my ferrets eat their
"kill" but just seem to have fun chasing them.
