Anna,

The drugs you're describing are Enacard and Lupron. Those are
standard treatment for the problems you describe.

It sounds like Jesse may have had a mild reaction to the distemper
shot, although it could have been stress or something else he ate that
he shouldn't have. Serious vaccine reactions usually happen within an
hour after the shot, and are accompanied by violent vomitting and
bloody diarrhea.

The vomitting and the stools just cleared his stomach quickly, that's
all. The odd looking stools happen because his food wasn't digested
completely. Even if it was a vaccine reaction, it sounds mild, and
he's over the hard part already. He might have a slight fever and
feel lousy for a day or two, so just try to keep him quiet and keep
him well hydrated. It wouldn't hurt to feed him a little Pedialyte
(or generic "Pediatric Electrolyte Solution").

If you haven't already, make sure to report the incident to your vet.

It sounds like he's going to be fine, but keep in mind, I'm NOT a vet.
If you're still in doubt, please check with your vet.
