I am seriously rattled by Butter's collapse - sorry; his surgery was July 7th, this was the 10th day. As I said his stitches are almost completely healed over - it is the type they don't remove. I watched him very closely for the first week and then some. He stayed in the Sheltie's dog kennel and
the other ferrets were beside themselves with jealousy. Yesterday he seemed completely OK - much better than before the surgery.
The doctor wants to wait and see how he does with the edication for a while. She thinks surgery can wait for a long time.
