Hi,
After repeatedly being wrongly diagnosedwith a possible brain disorder, i took to the internet and found that her symptoms excactly matched that of Insulinoma... i found out as much as i could and returned to the vet where a couple of blood tests proved that unfortunetly this was indeed the case... On the day of surgery she took a turn for the worst and her blood glucose levels were alarmingly low.. the Vet managed to stablise her sugar levles then performed surgery to remove the offending article. During surgery he noted that her Adrenal Glands were also swollen and some inflammation of the liver too.. at the time of writing she is still in the vets care on a combination of antibiotics and steroids....
Has anyone else been through this?
Would you care to share your experience as this is all new to me?
Please help?
