Certainly how much heat causes affects varies among individuals (as well as involving slow acclimation to be tolerated), and the range of symptoms can vary. Have you considered getting air conditioning? Have you considered for now providing soda pop bottles with water which have been frozen wrapped in cloth, and till then providing some ice cubes so that they have a way to cool down?
