Angie, leave a phone call with your vet's answering service asking
for a call back and also ask if the vet might want to think about
prescribing the liquid prep of Carafate. It goes in well we've found
and since blackish green stools can indicate upper GI internal
bleeding it should provide help and increase comfort since it
bandages ulcers so that they can heal. Ulcers are more common with a
ferret who is under physical stress, and your little one is.

I'm not a vet so take this with a grain of salt but to me it sounds
like a right adrenal neoplasia wound up in the bile duct because it's
pretty well right next to the R adrenal, being below the liver, so
the structures are very closely neighboring ones.
