Subject: Worried ferret owner in uk re poss lump in tummy

yesterday went to vet for vacination for ferret. Discovered a lump in his tummy during routine examination. Not sure what this is. he will have to go for an x-ray. he is really bright in himself and is eating and toileting as normal. problem is in UK (England) we do not have many ferret knowlegable vets. any advice would be appreciated, whether it is in the form of the worst possible scenario ie. tumours or maybe something really simple and not to serious.
Please please help us out here
