One thing to look for when buying wood pellets is to find out if they have been processed w/arsenic. Some wood pellets are unsafe.
I found a litter "Swheat Scoop" it is made from wheat, no chemicals added, safe for animals (they can even ingest it)and it clumps. Sometimes it is a little dusty but the manufacturer told me to add a little olive oil tp the bag and shake it in.
