Subject: How long does it take for Lupron to work?

My 5 yo MF female has an extremely swollen vulva. She had already had
bilateral adrenal surgery a year ago (Cryo). She began to show symptoms
again this spring (stinky, affectionate to the point of being obnoxious,
and a huge vulva). I had the vet open her up again to see what he could
find, he knew there was something there but couldn't find it so instead of
just chopping his way through (thank god), he closed her up and gave her a
shot of Lupron.
This was last week and she still has a huge vulva (with some discharge)
and I was wondering, how long does it usually take for Lupron to take
effect?
