As part of a written project I've been a participant in (one of many
participants) for a while I'd like input on ferret medical problems
associated with seizures to be a discussion topic. Please, remember
to follow the FHL rules and stay on topic: nothing political can be
mentioned, no one can be insulted, names need to be left out, no
solicitation may be done.
It IS important to have a handle on what sorts of medical problems
have been seen in such situations and how they may differ from the
standard range. For example: the advanced problems associated with
untreated adrenal growths instead of early adrenal growths, genital
tumors, malformations, parasites, etc. It is important to have an
idea of degree, types of problems, lingering medical difficulties,
etc. If you have had such a rescue ferret or ferrets in your
shelter, have treated such ferrets, or otherwise are knowledgeable on
this score here is your chance to teach us all, please!
