Well, I'm of course not a vet, but my vet did say that she didn't want to
do *surgery* until it had been going on for a while, because she says that
sometimes the tumors are too small to be seen easily and one could be
missed during surgery if they are that small...

As for other treatment, though, I don't know. I do know that I had one
baby develop diabetes after being on pred for an extended period of
time. So that might be another reason to be conservative. However, I know
what you mean about the seizures. This same baby had a very bad seizure
once when I was at work, and when I came home she was comatose. I almost
thought she had had a stroke. We rushed her to the vet and she recovered,
but it was a bad scare.
