Was a culture run to know for sure that this is just a respiratory
infection? Other options have been mentioned by other posters, so
I'll mention that perhaps the concept of a foreign body in the sinus,
or a tumor in the sinus would be worth investigating. I'm not a vet
so it's just something I'd ask our own vet in that situation, not
something based on experience or knowledge in this situation. BTW,
if it is a bacterial infection then a culture might also pin point
which meds would be most effective. (Though we have learned the hard
way that cultures have less chance of success if antibiotics are
being used.)
