Subject: Unexplained weight loss, should we worry?

Last week I posted about Bashor He had a swollen face and neck with red raw=
throat and fever of 104. After our trip to the vets He is eating again an=
d the swelling has gone down but now he is very thin. Could his swelling ha=
ve come on slowly so we didn=92t notice until it was very pronounced, There=
fore missing the weight loss. Or is the weight loss due to whatever it was =
that he had? We are worried about the weight loss. The vet says he is fine =
and to give it some time. But as I said he is very thin you can feel all th=
e bones in his back and shoulders. The only other thing I can think of is h=
is fur seems to have thinned out quite a bit over the last two weeks or may=
be three. We really didn=92t worry much because he looses quite a lot of hi=
s fur every summer. Could this be something else this year? Should we have =
the vet checking for something? Our vet says the symptoms he had could have=
been anything and unless he starts to feel bad again we shouldn=92t worry.=
However we have been unable to not worry. If anyone has any ideas I would=
be happy to hear them.
