I had a similar problem. One of my males feet swelled up and they still do=
n't know why. His temperature was over 104 and he was in the hospital for =
3 days. He lost some weight and I am still force feeding a few times a day=
now to help get the weight back up. When he was in the hospital, he got a=
ddicted to the AD food and now he doesn't want to eat his but I'm slowly ge=
tting him back on it.

s that he had? We are worried about the weight loss. The vet says he is fin=
e and to give it some time. But as I said he is very thin you can feel all =
the bones in his back and shoulders. The only other thing I can think of is=
his fur seems to have thinned out quite a bit over the last two weeks or m=
aybe three. We really didn=92t worry much because he looses quite a lot of =
his fur every summer. Could this be something else this year? Should we hav=
e the vet checking for something? Our vet says the symptoms he had could ha=
ve been anything and unless he starts to feel bad again we shouldn=92t worr=
y. However we have been unable to not worry. If anyone has any ideas I wou=
ld be happy to hear them.
