It can be. Teeth grinding (bruxism) is actually a very non-specific
symptom, and can indicate (often GI) pain, the confusion and loss of
energy that comes with insulinoma, or other problems.

It's impossible to tell from a brief online description why she's
doing that. It's hard enough to tell in person. Your vet is going to
have the best idea of why she's doing it, though. If you haven't
discussed the grinding specifically with your vet, you may want to do
so now.
