Subject: International Ferret Symposium update

The International Ferret Symposium will be held October 3-5, 2003 in
Atlanta Georgia at the Holiday Inn Airport North.
The first day will feature several vets speaking on health topics,
including Dr. Deborah Kemmerer, What's new in ferret health care; Dr. Jerry
Murray, Update on endocrine diseases; Dr. Hanneke Moorman, Ferret health
issues in Europe; Dr. Heather Wilson, Aleutian disease virus; and Dr. Bruce
Williams, Clinical pathology. (We are in the process of applying for 5 RACE
credits for these presentations.) There will also be a vet Q&A session.
Separate registration for this day only is available.
Additional health-related topics on the other days include Dr. Brett
Middleton on the genetics of deafness, and Bob Church on ferret enrichment.
Reduced registration fees are still available until August 4. After that
date, the fees go up slightly.
