Lizzie is our 3 yr old girl that was diagnoised with heart problems. We we=
re taking her in for adrenal surgery and she had this really mucousy cough.=
Really sounded awful but we took her in so the vet could check her out ev=
en if no surgery was performed. It wasn't but Karin checked her out and fo=
und nothing so put her on amoxi to clear up the cough. It worked and 10 da=
ys later she had her left adrenal removed, again she was put on amoxi to be=
sure not infection developed. As soon as the 10 days were up, she got her=
cough back. Took her back to clinic and had x-rays done. Her heart was a=
bout 1/4 larger than it was in Nov. '02 when we took her in for the same co=
ugh. She was also showing fluid in the lungs at that time. Now she's on l=
asix .2ml 2xday and encarda 1/4 of a 2.5mg pill 2xday. She's still her bou=
ncy self, into anything & everything. She eats, plays and poops as normal.=
Yesterday she started the cough again. I'm looking to see if anyone else=
has had this happen. Amoxi stopped it until she stopped taking it. The l=
asix and encarda seemed to work for the first couple of weeks, and now it's=
back again. Suggestions would wonderful. I'm going to take her back to v=
ets on Monday but I'd like to go in prepared for anything that might come u=
p. =

Thank you
Gail and the 12 fuzzie kids
