Subject: Old ferret - failing health

Have ferret that is approx 9+ years. She has already had adrenal disease and we had operation for that. Looks like she's got it again. Swollen vulva and started losing hair again. If so, vet says current disease is inoperable, but, vet wants to take tests to ensure, but, says tests only to make sure. What to do?
