I would think it isn't so much that the tumor is inoperable, but rather
that at your ferret's age the risks of surgery are probably too great.
Right adrenal tumors used to be thought inoperable, but advances like
vena cava ligation and cryo surgery changed that years ago.

Hav you discussed lupron depot with your vet? It won't stop the
progress of the disease, but it probably will relieve the symptoms for
your girl, quite possibly for the rest of her natural life. If one of
my nearly nine year olds got adrenal disease at this stage that is what
I would be looking at.
