I also have a female and she is 8 yrs. old and is doing the same thing. she
had both her adrenal glands removed when she was only a year old. Since last
year every time the season changes she loses all her fur and also has a swollen
vulva. All the tests show her to have nothing wrong. She is still very active,
eats good and drinks good and her poop is just fine. She now has started to
grow all the missing fur back and she is not swollen right now. What would
cause this if all the tests were fine. She's not stressed, she's a very happy little
girl always bouncing around, chattering and loves to climb everything.
Does anyone have any answers to this one?

Have ferret that is approx 9+ years. She has already had adrenal disease and
we had operation for that. Looks like she's got it again. Swollen vulva and
started losing hair again. If so, vet says current disease is inoperable, but, vet
wants to take tests to ensure, but, says tests only to make sure. What to do?
Love that baby!
