You were right about Cookie, my male ferret of 2 years old...
He has Adrenal Disease... I was pretty sure but was hoping not...

Remember, I have called the vet (july 21), and she told me to wait a month...
and see the evolution of hairloss.

There has been 2 weeks only and see evolution :

Cookie has lost hairs on shoulders, 3 big spots on the right flank, 2 spots (each side)
of posterior paws, less less hairs on his feet, big spot on his back (near the neck),
not very much hairs on the chest and the abdomen, and a big big spot on his hind...

I went to the vet clinic on saturday, my vet wasn't working. I saw another vet...
she has noticed that Cookie was not small but "skinny" 880g (usually 925g to 1kg).
Her diagnotic was made without hesitation : Adrenal Disease....and he needs a surgery....
but another vet does the surgeries (specialist) and she's on vacations for 3 WEEKS !!!!!!
Cookie's surgery will be on august 20 !!!!

She has also done a blood test for pancreatic diseases : normal, blood sugar is OK.

I consider Cookie is going down the hill...., and I must do something before he has other problems....
I read a lot on Adrenal and I know....that we cannot wait too long, but how long ??? For the moment, he goes to the bathroom often, but he goes... They have told me if he has a urinary tract blockage problem, I must call at the clinic, and they will send him to surgery even in another place...and I have 48 hours to do that...

I think, do the surgery this week or wait next week, it's the same...at this point....
I can't wait anymore, it's too hard to see him regress that way...He has loosing hairs each day
since 2 weeks ... a lot of bites and scratching on bare spots, more marking behavior, and he seems to become little agressive...
He sleeps a lot since 3 days, today he was up for play about half an hour...
I have also noticed red paws, red areas often on the back near the neck, on the neck and on the head.... His temperature seems to be higher on those red areas (he's warmer there...less hairs ?), but the vet told me it was normal : 38,9 celcius degrees (on saturday)...

I think Cookie needs surgery right now...
Marking behavior since end of April, hairloss since June, big hairloss and hard biting on spots
and scratching since 2 weeks, sleeping a lot since 3 days.... What do you think ? IS HE READY ?????

I have phone a big clinic for emergencies, they can do the surgery anytime...
If I don't do anything, if I don't make the good choice, I will regret it for the rest of my life....
Do you think the vet can see something on his adrenal glands at this stage of illness ????

I wait for your precious comments....Thank you very very much to everyone for your help and for your support....
