You know maybe I have too much read thoses articles on Adrenal Disease in
the Archives...
When your ferret get sick at 2 years old.... it's hard.. and when it's your
best friend...
It's my first ferret, my first pet... I do allergies to dogs, cats and
birds... but not ferrets...
First time also to have to deal with a problem like that... I must make the
right decision for him....
I have only the choice in 3 clinics... less one (vet in vacations), means
2...
I know if he has trouble to urinate, it's a kind of emergency...
But for the hairloss ? Is there a sign when the disease will affect other
organs ? For example,
can he be all bald and the disease is still in the left gland only ?
They say that Adrenal Disease grow slowly... but in some cases the tumors
can spread fast...
I also read that sooner is better, so when you have the diagnostic... Go to
surgery...
His marking behavior has started at the end of April, his hairloss in
June...
Over here in Province of Quebec, Canada, ferrets just become popular as
pets... and
there is few vets, they do ferrets surgeries not as often as in the US...
But I'm not worried
about their less experience, but worried that very often Adrenal come back a
few months after surgery...
I hope some days someone will find a cure to that terrible disease...
