(my apologies if this post appears twice)
In Sept 2000 I adopted a tiny female, Millie, who had adrenal surgery right before I adopted her. She was a few years old then, so she is at least 6+ years now. Over the past 3 years she has gotten progressively more bald, resembling a lion with a mane around her head and some fur at the end of her tail, but that's about it.
She has had several rounds of lupron (ie, not just one shot, but a few times we've tried a series of lupron.) Her hair never grew back. The last time she had lupron (probably 6 months ago) she had a mild reaction to it, so I decided no more tries. She also takes pred for insulinoma.
She is in good health and seems happy. Recently I noticed that she has hair coming in, randomly, on her legs, stomach, etc. Out of the blue, just like that, 3 years after her surgery, and after being mostly bald the past couple of years. Is this common, uncommon, etc? Just curious.
Ronnie
