It's important, though, to realize that for some reason in old ferrets (8 and over) Lupron for some reason doesn't always seem to work. There are past discussions about multiple ferrets with this problem which can be found in the Complete FHL Archives which contain both the Yahoo posts and the Smartgroups posts and which are very easily searched. This resource can be linked to from the bold print on the FHL homepage at

I recall that we were going to try Ovaban for one of our little ones because it is one of the alternative meds tried in that situation but her more serious health problems which turned on precluded that.
