Thank you everyone for your responses to my adrenal testing/surgery questions. I have only known about Pippin's slight hair loss for one week and feel confident that he will be strong enough to get through it. The vet said his body exam shows he is healthy except for the bad poops sometimes. We are waiting for the test results of a culture that will show if Pippin has any bacteria (he looked tired sometimes). I should get the results by Monday. In the meantime I'm going to monitor his hairloss as well as I can. You can barely tell there's any thinning at all unless you look very close. In the next few weeks or so I will have the funds for testing or surgery. If symptoms come on fast then we'll have exploratory surgery right away.
The vet told me to make sure Pippin isn't straining to pee. I'm not sure how to tell??? Any advice? I'm not sure if I should separate him from the girls to monitor him better. This might upset him as he's a cuddler.
