I have a 5 month old female who in the last week and a half has become lethargic, is not eating much, and has lost about 4/10ths of a pound. After two visits to the vet the first of which he prescribed Amoxicilin for an intestinal infection and the second at which he stated that she has a heart murmur and that we should prepare ourselves for the worst I have found this group and am looking for any answers as to what I can do or do I prepare for the inevitable? Any ideas as my vet is not experienced in the ferret world. Thanks in advance for any help.
