Lee, given the age of your little ferret, you might suggest your vet take an xray to check the chest. Juvenile lymphoma could cause lethargy, decreased appetite, and have an affect the heart.

Just one thought,

After two visits to the vet the first of which he prescribed Amoxicilin for an intestinal infection and the second at which he stated that she has a heart murmur and that we should prepare ourselves for the worst I have found this group and am looking for any answers as to what I can do or do I prepare for the inevitable? Any ideas as my vet is not experienced in the ferret world. Thanks in advance for any help.
