Hi, I have a lovely 7 year old sweetie named Cleo. I want to make sure that her life is as long and as wonderful as I can. Are there specific differences in how to feed a geriatric ferret as compared to a younger one? Does anyone have a very detailed list of their dietary requirements? You know, like how much protein (and from what source), how much calcium etcetera? I would also like to know if any of the commercially available ferret foods are better than the others, I usually feed Totally ferret mixed with Iams Kitten, plus Gerber Turkey for treats. I would feel a whole lot more comfortable though if I had more advice from those of you with more experience, and those with the DVM's after their names. Thanks.
