Lisa,
We had a little guy whose prednisone dosage got to 10mg a day. A 5mg tab
crushed and put in food 2x a day. He did very well on that dosage for a year until
he passed away. And, he may have passed from heart problems, he had 3rd
degree AV heartblock as well as many other things. My point is that you may have
room to increase the pred. We never had any tummy problems with it either.
Maybe because we always gave it in the food?
