Subject: Bandit-- grinding, girgly gas sounds in his throat??

Hi Everyone,

Still working hard to keep Bandit going and to have some quality of life. I
just noticed something odd with him, it was while I was feeding him. I heard
a rumbling sound- almost like gas bubbles but it wasn't coming from his mouth
it sounded as if it was in his throat...for the life of me I can't figure it
out. He grinds like crazy and sometimes sounds like he's chewing on
rubber---is that from the insulinoma?? and aside from carafate is there anything that
would help. The last time the vet looked in his mouth he didn't show any signs
of ulcers in his mouth...so I'm really concerned about that noise and what i
can do for the grinding. The medicine has almost become unbearable to give me
because he paws at his mouth profusely and drools half of the meds out of his
mouth. I can't bear giving it to him and the stress it causes, I think I
mentioned before he even pees - when I give him the meds.

Please help-- what should I do??
Has anyone heard of this crazy like sound before and what does it mean??
How can you make giving meds less stressfull and prevent him from spitting it
out or drooling it out??
What can I do about the uncomfort in his mouth or belly-- he's always chewing
almost sounds like he's chewing on his tongue--

Thanks,

Christina
