Brewers yeast is in most of the process kibbles you buy for your pet.

The application of either brewer's yeast or chromium depends on the state
of the mineral and the processing which is utilized in it's prepartion.
Natural sources are far better than synthetic preparations which many times
contain formaldehyde.

If you do not understand the specific nutritional suppliments, how they
interact within the intended system, and what the outcome should be it is
not wise to try experimenting on your pets. Whole nutritional food sources
and synthetic suppliments vary greatly in overall performance / outcome
within a living creature.
