Hi Debbie,
I would check with your Vet. first bacause I'm not sure if you can use Frontline on Ferrets. I've used Advantage for Kittens on them and you can use Revolution on them also. But you should give their weights to your Vet. and he can figure the doseage out for you for each one. And I always dose each one by their weights so they get the proper doseage, not just one ferret. Also check with your Vet. on the expiration date, better to be safe than sorry.
I like to seperate mine for at least 24 hrs. from each other. So they don't lick it off each other and make themselves sick. The first time I ever used flea drops like these I didn't seperate them and three of mine got sick from licking the others. So I like to seperate for saftey. Have fun defleaing.

I just bought a tube of Frontline Plus (large dog size, 89-132# tube)...is it safe for ferrets? I wanted Advantage, but they don't carry it. I need to know how much to use for each ferret, and how often. The ferrets range in weight from 1.25 to 2.50 lbs. Am I correct dosing one ferret of the group will take care of all of them, as long as they're sleeping together and such, or does each ferret need to be dosed?

Also, how long is the tube good for? The label from the vet said it expires 8/22/03, and I just got it 8/14/03!

I've never taken care of fleas with any of this kind of product, so if there are any tips I should know, I'd appreciate those as well.

Thank you for your help.
