Is his eyelid partially closed, or is there any discharge or pain? Is he se=
nsitive to sunlight, or you touching the eye area?

It might be a corneal scratch or ulceration. =

I am not a vet...but if you have any antibiotic eye ointment you might want=
to start treating it just in case. I have Shih Tzu, and they are prone to =
corneal abrasions, so I always have Gentak (gentomicin) eye ointment on han=
d. I keep the eye area clean, and watch for signs of worsening. I have a fa=
bulous opthalmologist for my critters, he's the one I go to if I have any q=
uestions or have an animal that has special eye needs. I see a vet when in =
doubt, especially when it concerns the eyes. =

I would try to get an appointment ASAP to have it looked at. =

In the meantime, keep the area clean and treat with an eye antiobiotic if y=
ou have one (I would call the vet first and ask for advice if you can't get=
there right away.

All the best,

Lisa
