What about an ultrasound guided needle aspiration for pathology?
We had to do that with Chiclet because she would not have survived
full anesthesia at that time and it worked wonderfully -- enough Iso
to get her groggy when the site was found then a quick draw and
removed the Iso rapidly. An ultrasound might also give additional
data on what is going on, so it would be two-fer.
