How old is this ferret?
Juvenile lymphoma moves rapidly but with adults there is more success treating lympho, though it is usually for more quality and quantity of time.
Also, are there any indications of adrenal neoplasia? I ask because sometimes that can cause thoracic fat deposition, and it would be a more hopeful situation.
BTW, I also am not a vet.
