Subject: Coughing and congestion

Ok it has been a terrible week here, first Peanut with her blockage and now Sam with his cough. Sammy is 10 months old and has started this congested sounding cough about 3 days ago. I know he needs to go to the vet but I have depleted my funds until next Friday and he can not go until then. The cough is not all the time just when he wakes from sleeping. He seems to have a runny nose also. I noticed last night the other ferts having a slight cough when I put them to bed. I was thinking something more horrible but when I heard the others my worry was lessened. His poops are normal, he is eating and drinking normally, acting a little tired but still active. Any suggestions about what I can give him until I get him to the vet next week. Like I said I know he needs to go but I have no funds left after Peanut to get him there until then.
