Did he give a reason for this? In my practice, the plan is surgery as soon
as is possible in a ferret that is a surgical candidate, and Lupron is reserved
for those that are not.

I have seen ferrets that early on in the disease had very small glands, but
usually have been able to distinguish the affected from normal by the way the
tissue feels.

I have had no luck with using Lupron to try to shrink adrenals, but since I
don't use it routinely presurgically, I have no experience there.
