I don't know about the nosebleeds, but many ferrets who have had both
adrenals removed need long-term hormone therapy to replace what's now
missing. If their hormones get too imbalanced they can go into a
life-threatening Addisonian crisis. Lethargy and lack of appetite are
the usual signs that this is starting to happen. (Low blood pressure,
odd-colored stool and urine, or discolored skin are other signs.)
Florinef (fludrocortisone) or Percortin (desoxycorticosterone) are
usually given for the rest of their lives to replace the missing
hormones.

Please get your ferret in to the vet as soon as you can. Addison's is
nothing to mess around with.
