Hi there,
About your little old timer, I'm no vet. but maybe he has an ulser in his
stomach. Does he ever vomit or want to sleep too much? My little guy, (before
he crossed the bridge on Aug. 20th of last year at 4 yrs. old) had some of the
same symptoms. He had ulsers in his stomach, but he wasn't strong enough
to to fight it.
Ask your vet. to check for maybe ulsers in him. There might be another med.
he could try. My little guy was vomiting, pawing at his mouth like something
was stuck in there and lathargic-very tired, (excuse my bad spelling) and he
lost weight almost over night. It came on so quickly for him, but I know all
ferrets are different on how illness effect them. For him it was so quick. One
day he was just fine and acting his normal self and the next the total opposite.
I would take him back in and have whatever tests, xrays and bloodwork done.
Good luck with Cecil!
