Hi Niki,

Your little 10 month old ferret should not be lethargic.

If Kakarot is bothered by allergies, he may benefit from a few days of
Children's Benedryl, but that in itself will make him tired. I would expect him to
have watery eyes, a runny nose, or some kind of skin problem, too, if it was an
allergy to something.

You might ask your vet to do some bloodwork. He may be mildly anemic or
fighting an infection. If this doesn't show anything out of the norm, you might
consider an xray to see if he has ingested something that is making him feel
bad. A foreign body doesn't have to produce a blockage for it to effect them.

Let us know how he is doing,
Julie
