If it's Prednisolone, no it doesn't need to be in the fridge. For Prednisone I don't know about that on. My little old guy Oscar has been taking Prednisolone for a year and a half now, so I only know about that med. Just call up your Vet. if your not sure and they will tell you. Good luck, Jeanne
