Subject: my ferret won't eat from his bowl

my ferret, kakarot (mentioned before in the "lethargic ferret" post) has recently decided that he no longer wants to eat his food from the food bowl. my other ferret, odo, has no problem with the bowl. kakarot will eat from the bowl, but eats a lot more if the food is on the floor in the cage. it was a very sudden change in taste. i think it happened after the last time i washed the dish. does he maybe not like the soap smell? any ideas?
