Subject: mucus in the eye. is this normal?
Message-ID: <360020.1062880576476.JavaMail.root@thallium.smartgroups.com>

my few month old ferret, odo, has a lot of mucus in one of his eyes. i got most of it out with a papertowl, but i'm not sure if this is vet worthy, or something normal. i have to take my other ferret into the vet tomorrow, so if i need to take odo, it won't be difficult, but i don't want to take him (and pay extra) if this is nothing to be concerned about. it was dark green, and partially dried, partially wet. is this something to be worried about?

thanks in advance,
n i k i
