Subject: Enlarged Spleen and Heart

Hello I have an 8 month old male ferret who has an extremely enlarged spleen. When blood tests were done on him his white blood cells were quite high. The vet did exrays and along with the enlarged spleen so was his heart. Currently he is being treated as a heart disease patient. I am not so sure if this is the problem. He has been on heart medicine for almost two weeks and there has not yet been any improvements. Some of the symptoms include lack of appetite, loose small stools,lack of energy, lying on the floor as flat as he can be and an excessive amount of hard to wake up sleep. Does anyone have any idea what the problem could be or any suggestions as to what to do?
