Hi Jacci,
I 'm not a Vet. but I would take both into your Vet. and have them both
checked out. Why was your Jinx taken off her Pred. to begin with? I would have
her checked out again to make sure there's nothing new going on. For feeding
maybe try some duck soup.
Now for your boy, did your Vet. prescribe the Pred. for him or did you just
start it yourself? I would not take him off or cut back on his med. at all right
now. I would take him in and let the vet know what and how much he is taking
and that he seems to be doing good on it. And I'd have your vet check your
little guy out. But I would not take him off the Pred. at all unless your vet says
to after an exam. Good luck with both babies,
Jeanne

My little Jinx, aprox 2 1/2 yrs old, had part of her pancreas removed due to
insulinoma, and for a time was off her pred. About a month later she started
declining and the vet put her back on the pred...
Also, I have a rescued ferret that came to me barely walking... Started him on
that and the next day he was running down the hall!
