Subject: a question for carcass feeders
Message-id: <a06002008bb8271cc7746@[10.0.1.31]>
I was discussing differences in how animals process foods today with
someone in the pet food industry who was working from private
research and research from zoos.
It turns out that when snakes eat whole animals rabbit fur behaves
much differently in their digestive tract than other furs. It breaks
into smaller pieces shaped like icicles rather than staying whole.
Does it behave this same way when ferrets ingest it? Have any whole
carcass feeders encountered anything on this? If not, are any
interested in making a comparison or having someone make one?
