Subject: Note on EE & Turkey Diet

I have 1 ferret diagnosed with EE and another that has an allergic reaction to any food except Turkey & Barley.The 1 diagnosed was switched to Turkey and is now off meds ,stools normal & gaining weight.This does not mean all will turn around like this. I did a little research on my own. I checked the ingredients in 5 other ferret and kitten foods & Turkey & Barley and came up with one difference,Turkey & Barley is the only food that does not have Zinc oxide or zinc sulfate. Could this be significant?
