Last week I wrote about the large adrenal male I am boarding. He wasn't doing too well so the owner took him in last Friday. Vet gave him a 1 mo. Lupron shot in hopes of shrinking the adrenal glands. Since then he has gone downhill and is near death. I am feeding him what I can get in him with a syringe (chicken baby food mixed with strained wet kibble) and some water. He tries to refuse but he's taking a little more now. Before the shot he was at least eating well and had control of his functions. He's developed a wheeze and can't stand up to potty. Would the Lupron have had any direct effect on his bodily control or was he just going out anyway?

Anybody else have an experience like this?

Thanks,
Carol O.
