This ferret needs to get to the vet NOW.

There may be a urinary blockage (which usually happens secondary to prostate inflammation from adrenal neoplasia), or there may be a serious GI tract blockage. Either one needs very prompt care -- within hours not days.

These are symptoms which lead to emergency appointments. If it works out well the person heaves a sigh of relief because if it doesn't work out well and care is not received promptly the end result tends to be a painful death.

NEVER give Tylenol. It is fatal for ferrets even in very small amounts and when it doesn't kill it does liver damage.

Their normal temps are 101 or 102' F.
